Feminine and Masculine

In the past there have been many trends in fashion, however I have noticed a pattern in the style of clothes. It varies from masculine to feminine. In the 30's it became popular to drop the hips and have a form that was as straight as a pole. Before that style was popular, everyone wore corsets to establish an extreme feminine figure. Not only that, in these past five years I have observed that now the trend is a feminine style, including form-fitting clothes and lace. Early in the 2000's and even in the 90's it seemed to be all about a masculine form, including Grunge, the baggy pants and a crop top. Just something to think about.
